Growing up overseas in countries with limited educational resources, I saw firsthand how students struggled in school—not because they lacked potential, but because they lacked the right support. Too often, these students were left behind simply due to a lack of access to the tools they needed to succeed.

Education became personal for me when I watched my own sister, who has profound dyslexia, struggle with reading. Traditional methods weren’t working, and the frustration was overwhelming. However, everything changed when she was introduced to the Barton System. With the right approach, she went from struggling to thriving, and I realized just how powerful the right tools and strategies could be.

That experience led me to pursue a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education at Cedarville University. I am passionate about equipping students with the skills they need to succeed—especially those who learn differently!

I have had the privilege of working as a tutor at Potter’s Ranch Dyslexia Camp in Union, Kentucky—one of only five camps in the nation specializing in dyslexia intervention. This upcoming year, I have taken on the role of Academic Director, overseeing the curriculum and working closely with students who have profound dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Seeing students go from struggling to confidently reading books to their younger siblings has been an incredibly rewarding experience!

Because of my passion for helping students overcome learning challenges, I pursued certification in the Barton Reading & System, ensuring I could provide structured, evidence-based support. Soon, I will also be undergoing training in Equipping Minds, a cognitive development therapy program, which will allow me to further enhance my students’ learning experiences.

I believe EVERY student has the potential to succeed when given the right tools and encouragement. I look forward to being a part of your child’s learning journey!
